About South Carolina Walking Horse Association

At our heart, we are an organization for the horse. We promote all aspects of the gaited horse breeds we represent including: Tennessee Walking Horses, Racking Horses, and Spotted Saddle Horses. 

Our membership-driven organization commits to serving our communities each year through our passion of showing gaited horses. We have two charitable causes: The Ronald McDonald Foundation of the Carolinas and the SCWHA Scholarship Program. 

The SCWHA supports all local horse shows within the South Carolina area that feature gaited horse breeds. We offer an affiliation program for high-point, year-end awards. We distribute awards annually at our awards banquet.
